Default Structural improvements are important

Structural improvements , like plumbing, the electrical, and insulation, pest control, and HVAC these are typically are the least sexy but most important improvements a flipper will make.

New hardwood floors and coat of paint may get buyers in the door, but a termite problem can kill a deal very quickly. If your technical skills are lacking here, you'll have to figure in the cost of labor, too that includes the time and money lost if you're waiting on your someone to finish the electrical wiring.

Most real-estate agents advise fixing up the kitchen and bathrooms for the best return on your investment. In addition to the structural changes, this can include new cabinetry, counters, hardware, sinks, back splashes, appliances, along with floors and not to forget lighting.

Default Re: Structural improvements are important

We arent flipping right now but we do have some plans in the making for my kitchen. I am having a tile back splash put in my kitchen with the addition of under cabinet lighting installed. That lighting will be so helpful by just lighting up the work area, especially in the late evening.

Any and all additions to your home will make it worth more when and if you decide to sell.

Then it will be on to the installation of a new garage door and we are also extending our deck this summer. All of which, as I said will add a lot to the selling price if and when we might decide to sell.
