Default Snakes run everyone out

This past year, the J.P. Morgan Chase banking unit foreclosed on a home near Rexburg, Idaho, that is infested with garter snakes.

They slide through the yard, the crawl space, the walls,in the ceilings, even across the floors. Sure, they're harmless, but there are thousands of them. They give off malodorous secretions when alarmed, and can even leave the well water tasting a bit like the way they smell. This is not the way I would want to live no wonder no one wants this cute little house.

Two families have fled this home, just like if it was haunted. The house has made it onto two t.v shows, one on Animal Planet, and one on a local channel. There is a video on YouTube also.

Default Re: Snakes run everyone out

This problem could be taken care of by anyone who isn't afraid of the snakes. Throwing mothballs everywhere the snakes are and around the home and yard would get rid of them.

Snakes don't like mothballs and will leave the area. There are always ways to make sure that nature stays where it is supposed to. I just wonder why the snakes are so attracted to this house. Is it only this one house that is infested like this in the area?

I am curious to know why the snakes would invade a home like they have on this one. Though this isn't the first time I have heard of snakes taking over a home like this. It sure isn't a place that I would want to live in that's for sure. I am not really fearful of snakes, but I sure don't like being surprised by them.
