Default Severe Weather

Right now in my area we are having some severe weather. Hard rain and 60mph winds. We got home from shopping just in time to get hit really hard.

We had bought some storage tubs and other items to get the house organized and stuff and we ended up chasing this stuff down the street because when he opened the trunk of the car the wind just took hold of it all and threw it!

I don't like weather like this because this is when things get damaged, power goes out and makes life really difficult.

Also you have to worry about tornados as well and that is something no one wants to contend with!!

Just great the power here just went out! Thank heavens for laptop computers, but sadfully the battery will eventually die.

Hope you all are having better weather than we are!

It seems like a lot of places got that storm, we sure did where I am in ohio, I did not lose power, but a lot of people did, my mom is in a nursing home they lost power for a few hours, it is only a few towns away from me, but a lot of places around me lost power.

Power ended up being out until the following day. There was a line that went down due to a tree branch and it took them a while to get it taken care of.

I really don't like such strong storms. They cause to many complications in life and damages. I know it is something that no one can control, but I hope it is a good long while before we face another one like that.

Speaking of severe weather, a good supply of sidewalk salt is needed for the winter months. Having a good supply on hand is the best idea because if there are any major storms, the stores sell out in a hurry.

Safety is of the utmost importance so no one gets hurt when snow or ice storms hit.

I just made that post yesterday and yesterday afternoon we ended up having an ice storm then snow afterwards. See what I mean about one never knows what the weather is going to bring?

And on top of all that it was 17 degrees and colder in our little corner of Ohio and now today people are out thawing frozen water pipes. One day they will learn to take care of that in the good weather instead of freezing fingers off in the winter time.
