People across the country are being scammed by fly-by-night moving companies that quote one price, and then refuse to unload the truck unless a much higher fee is paid. Others will quote a price, without even visiting the home to see what they are moving.

Moving to a new location can be a very expensive proposition, even without using a moving company. Being scammed by a moving company would be a hard pill to swallow, after all the other expense. Beware of these scams and do your homework beforehand, to be sure you are getting a good, trustworthy company.
