I used to teach real estate classes and the largest school in Ky. and I am giving it serious consideration. I thinking about putting together a house flipping class. I'm worried that I will just be training my competition. I know that even if I didn't conduct the class in my county that people would travel great distantaces to take it. What do you all think?

I think that starting that class is a great idea and that people would come from far and wide to take it so that they could learn the proper way to start their own house flipping business.

In these economically stressed times with so many people out of work, there has to be someone out there that can show others how to work at something properly that can bring in money so that they can take care of their families.

They may eventually be the competition, but you would have the monies from your flipping business coming in plus the money from the classes you would be teaching. So it sounds like a win-win situation all the way around to me.

I was a real estate agent for a minute. I couldn't make it work while working full time in a factory. There are alot of things that you can learn by taking a class or two in real estate.

I myself would ask an agent to come and do a comp on my home so that I can see where we stand at the moment. I would also ask if they could do it with improvements counted in. Hopefully we will be able to sell at a resonable price otherwise I am gonna be stuck here forever and I already hate it.
