Maxwell House Announces Community House Winners

I didn't even know that Maxwell House was involved in anything like this but apparently they just announced who the "Drops of Good" community house winners are.

Basically what they are doing is renovating the buildings of five organizations spending up to $50,000. Way to go Maxwell House! Good coffee, good people!

Here are the winners:

Americans have spoken and chosen five deserving community houses in need to receive up to $50,000 in renovations from "Drops of Good: The Maxwell House Community Project." With more than two million votes tallied, the winning community houses are:

• Atlanta: Adamsville Recreation Center
• Denver: The Grow Haus
• Los Angeles: Watts Labor Community Action Committee
• New York City: Mill Brook Community Center
• Philadelphia: Community Education Center

it sounds like these are very deserving winners who do good things.

Maxwell House Drops of Good Winners

I had not herd of this contest before either, but I am very happy for the winners. am sure that each and every one of these places need updates and are all jumping fr joy right about now.

It would be nice if we would be able to find before and after pictures of the new updates. I will keep an eye out for pictures, and if I find any, Iwill post them here.

Yes I saw a ad on t.v for this months ago, it surprised me when I first saw it, it is a good thing they are doing.
