I went to my sister's house to help her get some kind of organization going. She is a little old pack rat.

We went through her freezer and you should have seen all the food we had to throw away. She has a side by side refrigerator and the freezer was so packed, she had no idea what she had in there. She had stuff in there that, no one would ever eat or could eat. It had freezer burn. Now it is organized and now she can see what she has in it. I would suggest if you haven't gone through your refrigerator or freezer, you should check it every now and then. Stuff gets pushed way in the back, never to be seen again.

Now next week, I am going to help them clean out the garage. You seriously can not walk through it. It is horrible. Her daughter wants to have a place she can hang out with her friends so I told her I would help them out and see what we can do with that.

My sister has things she will never use. I know there is stuff in the garage she won't even know it is in there.

I really have my work cut out for me. Wish me luck!!! LOL

I do not envy you at all. But i bet she could make a great tag sale out of the extra stuff in the garage.

Tell me, i do not know the reason behind why freezer burn is bad, and how to avoid it? Thanks for the schooling.

I have seen some bad pack rats..LOL I saw one on TV that took 7 huge warehouses to put the stuff in and sell it. lol One way to stop freexzer burn is to air lok food you put in freezer. If it is like it is at my house nothing has time to freezer burn. it is gone to fast..LOL
