Luxury Homes

I just read something that is a little suprising to me. I guess it is being reported that companies who build luxury homes are doing pretty decent business right now. This suprises me because I was thinking that people were looking more towards down-sizing right now with the economy and everything. Guess I was wrong.

Toll Brothers Inc., who build luxury homes, said that they have had a nice increase in contracts lately, the most in four years. Because of that their shares have went up by 11%.

They say that many markets are improving and buyer confidence is up. I wonder if it will last though.

This is good news that people are ready to build the homes of their dreams and that they can afford to do so.

Me, I will be sticking to my ancient house. lol. I don't have to make payments on it and hey, it's got character lol!

I am glad to see that people are able to afford luxury homes right now. I figured that with the economy being such a mess that no one could really afford such a place to live. Though Im glad that they can.

I also live in an older home, though it looks quite nice due to the renovations that we have been doing to it lately.

We have more yet to do, but slowly it will all get done.

Maybe if business for companies who are selling high priced luxury homes is going up, maybe then this is a sign that the economy is making a turn around and things will soon be straightened out again.

At least that is what I am hoping for!
