Default Land prices falling.

My husband and I have been looking to buy some acreage for several years. It looks to me like this is the absolute best time to do so.

He called me today to tell me about all of the deals he was seeing. It is unbelievable to me how low the prices have go too.

He asked me where I wanted to move to and you know what with prices the way they are I guess I really have lots of choices.

I will let you know how the search goes. I will have to wait for his return in April then we are of visiting and searching.

Yes, prices are falling right now but with the economy in the shape it is in and the banks tightening the reins on loans, it is still hard for a lot of people to buy.

I would suggest though that if there is any way possible, that people should take advantage of the lower prices and buy some land if at all possible. Land has always been a good investment.

I also would be on the look out for land that could be bought on a land contract but do suggest that you get a lawyer to draw up a contract for your purchase as today isnt like it was years ago. Back then, you could take a man at his word, but not these days. So its much better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you loumatt for your kindness. When my husband and I first me he was buying property. Things went downhill for a while and he had to give it up.

I miss the hunting trips and the camping. We used to take all six kids to the property with us. It taught them a few things about patience and how to use their imagination.

Anyway it will be nice to move and great to be out in the open again. Home or vacant land either way its a win win in my book.
