I remember when my daughter was younger she pulled out the keyboard tray on my desk and then tried to climb on it. The whole thing, desk, pc and all came crashing down with her underneath of it. Thank goodness she was ok, shaken up but ok. I wish I had known or even thought about one of those anchor harnesses!

Default childproofing a house

There are some great suggestions in this article and one of the most useful one i think is to never leave your child unattedned even or have a room just for them and childproof that room make it their room and there room only nothing in there but toys for them and nothing to climb on or fall on them childproof locks outlet covers and they even have one for the commode now cause little feet can get stuck in the toilet by climbing on it with the lid up so never leave them in there alone

People always forget about simple things like tylenol or creams.
You don't want to leave any of these where children can find them.
Childproof caps only seem to work on adults. My grandkids can open
them no problem.
My grandson had a dresser tip over on him. He had pulled the drawer
out and was standing on it. Make sure that heavy furniture is balanced
and sits evenly on the flloor. I put shims under the front legs when some
of my items are on high pile carpet just in case.

Thats a good idea badmomma, to use the shims. Its also true that the childproofing of meds seems to only work on adults. There is nothing children cannot do to find trouble i think. LOL. At least thats how my children are.
When my son was about 2 years old we had a gate in place in his doorway so he couldn't sneak off in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. Somehow he had stashed a screwdriver, used it to unscrew the gate (2 years old mind ya) and got out into the kitchen where we found him sitting on the table eating his sisters candy bars she was selling for school. It was too funny for us to yell at him. It certainly made me rethink what his abilities were though! LOL
