Default Household Pests

Household pests can be quite a chore to get rid of. They come into the home to breed, for shelter and food and to nest. They key to getting rid of them is to make the inside of your house unpleasant for them to reside in.

Household pests include ants, bed bugs, carpet beetles, book lice, flies, fleas, cockroaches, mice, rats, slugs and snails, gnats, centipedes and spiders just to name a few. The list could go on and on!

It seems dirty, damp conditions are preferred by most household pests so cleaning up and airing out the basement will help tremendously. Food left out frequently is also very attractive to pests. Keep food covered and refridgerated. Also using window screens and screen dorrs will help to keep the buggers out.

Many of the pests can be endangering to people's health so you need to be rid of them immediately. They spread disease through stings and bites.

There are lots of pesticides to choose from and home remedies that work wonderfully as well to be rid of them.
