Default Don't Neglect Your Home

All too often we put off the smaller projects that need done in our homes and thats a huge mistake. It's so much better to do them now rather than wait and possibly end up with a bigger, more expensive problem later.

Some of the projects to not put off:

HVAC Inspections. (Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) It's best to have this done by a professional. Spring or Fall is usually the best time because the professionals aren't as busy then and they will typically charge less. You should have this done yearly.

Chimney inspection. This should be done yearly as well and the cost is well worth it. Creosote can build up in the chimney and cause a fire. A chimney inspection usually costs about $65, an inspection and cleaning $150.

Termite Inspection. Termites will literally eat your house up. Anytime during the year is fine for a termite inspection. The costs vary depending on whether or not you do have termites and if you chose to have a contract with a company for termite prevention. So worth the money though.
