Wasted Space

Most of us have wasted space in our homes. If you realize that you have the same situation then I suggest that you watch a show called Wasted Spaces.

I just saw it for the first time an hour ago, and I was surprised at what they were doing.

In this home they were working on they were taking a basement and turning it into storage for hunting gear and part of it was to be a family room.

Well because it was going to be part family room they wanted to do something special for the hunting gear including guns to make sure that children would not be able to gain access to them.

So what they did was created a false wall in the basement that locked. Behind the wall was plenty of storage for all of the hunting gear that needed to be stored and room for more.

I loved the idea of there being more or less a hidden room in the basement that kept the guns and things for hunting safely out of the hands of kids, out of sight from visitors, yet easily accessed when needed.

This Wasted Spaces show is going to be another show I need to watch more often to learn how to deal with all of the wasted space I see in places.
