Default The Reality of Home Reality Shows

How real are home renovation reality shows? Some people say very real and others say not at all. What I have found for the most part isn't that they are all fake but that they only have so much time to show so much on television. So they have to edit down what they have done as far as renovating goes in order to fit in the most important parts of what they have done.

So most of them don't show all of the unexpected things that they run into. You don't see a whole lot of when things go wrong.

Anybody who has renovated a house or tried to spruce up a yard knows what an ordeal it is. So why does it seem so bright and rosy on all those home-makeover shows? Clearly, there's a certain dramatic licence – a licence that might see 30 tradesmen and labourers hiding off camera, waiting to swoop with their tools.
If everyone had the staff and the tools that the shows have... it would go much smoother lol!

You are so right, they have to pick out certain parts of the job to show on their shows and perhaps a lot of people dont grasp that concept and that is why they think that the shows arent real.

And yes, if we had all those workers on our jobs, the jobs would go very quickly and very smoothly.
