Some cable users lose HGTV/Food Network

Money that Cablevision has to pay Scripps that offers the two networks is the reason behind the loss of these shows by some cable viewers, and the viewers that have lost these shows are not happy.

On viewer had this to say.

I think the vast majority of people don't care who is to blame but just want the channels back on.

There is a Facebook page made by one viewer for those who want these two shows back. So far, they have over 7,000 members.

Can you guys imagine if I lost my HGTV??? You all know how addicted I am to that station! I'd go crazy lol! (Well, I might already be a little crazy but I'd be outright nuts without my HGTV shows!!! I bet those people are mad!

It makes me so mad anyhow when we pay so much stinkin' money for cable television and they can just up and take channels away at their whim! Really ticks me off!

Most of the loss of HGTV/Food Network shows have taken place in New York and Connectuict. But it may only be a matter of time before the loss hits us all.

One thing that we can fall back on though is the fact that HGTV does have videos of these shows and Im just wondering if there isnt somewhere online that you can watch the actual shows themselves.

There should be for both HGTV and Food Network. I will do some searching around and let you all know if there is, because I sure would not want to do without HGTV either.

I sure hope we do not lose it here. I love watching it.

I know we had an uproar here over fox tv, they wanted to raise thier prices so much that Time Warner was going to have to drop them so thier customers would not have to pay more for thier cable. But they worked out a deal.
