Renovation Reality

Last night on the DIY channel at 7:00pm there was a show called "Renovation Reality". It was the first time I have ever watched this show.

There were a couple of people who were wanting to put a deck on the house. Which is always a good idea if you have the room. It really adds beauty and value to the home.

However these people never bothered to check the ground to see if it needed to be leveled. Well needless to say the ground was amazingly uneven and they didn't figure this out until they had of course started building the deck.

One funny thing was that in the corner of the screen there was a message that kept popping up that was saying this kind of stuff wouldn't happen if they had just watched the DIY channel more often.

I just can't believe that people would attempt to build something even something as simple as a deck with out knowing what they were doing. It is seriously mind boggling. I don't even know if they managed to get the deck done or not. I couldn't stand to watch the show til the end.

Yes it was that bad.
