House Hunters

Have any of you guys watched the show House Hunters? It's a show that features people looking to buy a house. Some of them are first time buyers and others already own a home. It's on HGTV at different times of the day. I usually watch it at night when I go to bed.

I love seeing how some people rate the houses and their different reactions to houses. Some people want it all for very little money. They typically learn that they have their heads in the clouds lol.

At the end of the episodes they usually have three different rpoperties to choose from. For some reason it seems that they always pick a different one from one that I'd pick lol.

This show does teach many of the different aspects of home buying which is another reason why I think I like it so much.

I like this show, too! It gives a lot of insight as to what some buyers are looking for, and what really puts them off. I've learned a few things by watching it, too--like where to invest money on finishes, landscaping, etc. It is hard to watch at times, though--especially when you live in a market like DC (where houses are ridiculously expensive for what you get) and you watch couples in Texas get 2,000 square foot homes for $200,000!! At least we have peace of mind when we move, eh?
