Default Fix This Yard

I don't watch a lot of these types of shows. Though I am slowly getting into them more and more.

I actually just watched this show called "Fix This Yard" on A&E and I was impressed with the things that they did.

This crew comes to a home where the yard is over grown, torn up and just completely out of control and they really transform it into something that not only the home owners can be proud of and enjoy but they knock out an eye sore of the neighborhood.

The show I just watched was a yard where the owners worked both worked and having two children couldn't find the time to tame their out of hand yard. In their yard you could barely see the walk way because plants and weeds had completely taken over the entire place and trees were actually growing into power lines.

The kids would actually head over into their neighbors yard to play because they were not able to play in their own yard. I don't blame them I would too if I were them.

Any how the crew of Fix This Yard came in with heavy equipment and tore everything out. Removed the trees that were causing or going to cause problems and completely redid the entire yard and path way to the house.

In just a short amount of time they really had that place looking sharp!!

I also learned a little trick that I did not know before. When shopping for plants to put into your yard look at the leaves of the plant. Plants with larger leaves do well in the shade where plants with small leaves will do well in the sunlight. I thought that was interesting to know.
