Default Ask This Old House

Ask this old house is a show that I just was able to catch a few minutes of a few days ago. They were installing a floating floor in a womans home. It was a beautiful home and the floor color that was chosen for what was to be a play room for children was just amazing.

I sadfully wasnt able to see the whole show, but what I did see was really good. I love these shows. I get some really good ideas of things I want to do to my home and of course it also comes in handy when helping someone with their home.

My daughter and her husband just purchased a home, and I gave a bit of friendly advice and suggested that before they start making changes to the home that they watch several of these shows to help them get ideas for their home.

So far it is all working well. They have come up with a great course of action that when finished, their home is going to look completely new and its not going to cost them and arm and a leg.

I dont get the chance to watch alot of TV, though when I do find the time to sit down and watch it, I often look for home repair shows, DIY shows and so on. These shows really are a great way to learn how to do simple repairs and of course give you some great ideas of what would look good in any home.
