Default Lemon Law???

I was wondering if you can ever pull out of selling a house?

I think that there is but... I am not sure. I feel if the house has been represented badly, you should be able to back out of the deal.

Is there such a law? If so, what would be the latest time during the deal that you could pull out?

Also, my neighbor bought their house and they said, we will buy it if you get certain things done. Well they said the stuff was taken care of, and some things were not.

I told her to check out her lease agreement and the house agreement and she did. It said sold "As is". She signed it. Is she out of luck now. She has been living there now for about 2 1/2 years.

If you make an offer on a property and it is accepted, the only way you can get out of it is if something major comes up during the inspection that makes the house uninhabitable. Roof issues, foundation, heating, etc. If you get an accepted offer and then just change your mind, you lose your earnest money. Make sense?

You must get everything in writing. If you agree on certain things being done you should have it written down.

After everything is completed then have the home inspected prior to finalizing your agreement.

It is better safe than sorry. I hope that the things are small enough that they aren't going to cost them alot of money.

Thank you. I understand. They really should have gotten everything down on paper. And read the fine print. I don't think it should cost them too much money for the repairs. She just loves to complain. LOL!!!
