Good Landlords

I have mentioned many times bad landlords and the things that they do that they shouldn't be doing.

Though I thought today I would turn that all around and post about some great landlords.

I once lived in an apartment and I will say that I had some truely great landlords. I loved living there.

I remember a time when the ceiling fan came crashing down and shattered on the floor. I called the landlords and told them what happened and with in one hour they had some one there to deal with the problem.

They even offered to replace or try to repair my coffee table which had been gouged when the fan fell. I thought that was pretty nice.

One week later something happened to the fridge so once again I called the landlord and again someone was there with in about an hour to check it out.

I am not really sure what happened to the fridge but I do know that I had to throw out EVERYTHING that was in there. I lost about $100.00 worth of groceries that day. But to my surprise the landlord stopped by later that night after another fridge had been brought in and handed me $150.00 for groceries and a rent receipt for the following month and told me that my rent was paid as a way to apologize for all the problems I was having.

Now those two problems were all that I ever had at that place, and will say that those landlords were awesome to work with. I wish everyone in this country had landlords like them, but sadfully that will never happen.

That is awesome that they took care of you like that. Thats how it should be. We need more landlords like that, we need more people in general who are like that. The world would be a much better place!

Good landlords are very hard to come by these days or so it seems.

Most dont want to do anything but collect their monthly rents and dont seem to worry at all about any problems that go on in the apartments or houses that they rent out.

I also wish there were more landlords like the one you just described. People deserve to live in safe and sanitary conditions, and it is the landlords responsibility to see to it that those conditions are met.

There are a whole lot of landlords and property managers out there who only seem to care about the money, however as I said before there are some who are actually caring human beings.

I always seem to hear about the landlords and property managers who are not doing what they are supposed to which is why I thought it would be a good idea to remind everyone that there are still good people in this world. It just seems that they tend to hind a lot.
