When you decide to purchase a home it is important to know how they apply in your state.

As far as Federal law is concerned you must know if there is lead paint or radon gas present in the home before purchase.

Contact your real estate agent or a lawyer to discuss how the current law applies to your purchase. You also need to ask what you need to look for before you make you purchase.

It is best to catch things before the paperwork is finalized and you move in. Better safe than sorry.
