Default Our Mistake

My sweetie and I have been doing a whole lot of work on our home lately. It is an older home, yet it is in great shape. We have just been doing some remodeling and a few minor repairs.

Though one thing that we should have done when we were in the process of doing some of these remodeling projects is to add in more electrical outlets.

Because this is an old house, thre arent very many outlets in each room. Heck there are two rooms in the house where there are no outlets what so ever.

It would have been easier to install these outlets when we were doing the remodeling on the rooms, though it was something we didnt even think about until the project was completed.

Now because of our mistake and our forgetfulness, we will have to go back another time and get the outlets put into these rooms, as well as more through out the house.

Of course next time we begin to remodel a room, adding in the outlets will proably be the first thing that we do, just to make sure that they are done and not forgotten anymore, of course we are also making sure that we plan our other projects much better to ensure that this kind of stuff never again happens. LOL.

Electrical outlets are a must for sure. I am pretty lucky tho, I have alot of them all over my house.

But I am pretty greedy and I wouldn't mind a few more. LOL!!!

My house is really old as well and when we put in new electrical wiring, I had them also put in lots of new outlets.

When we moved in we only had three in the kitchen, three in the living room, two in each of the first floor bedrooms and only one in each of the upstairs bedrooms. It was aweful, especially in the kitchen. Now I have lots in every room. Somehow though, we still manage to fill all of them up lol.

To be honest, it is pretty inexpensive to add extra outlets if you know someone who can do it for you. The materials are cheap.

I lucked out with my sweetie, he does know how to install electrical outlets, and he has all the materials needed to do the job.

Though finding the time to get them put in is going to be our problem now. I am sure that they will eventually get put in, because just about every room in this house is in dire need of electrical outlets.

The living room which he remodeled several years ago, is the only room in the house that has plenty of outlets, this is only because when he did the work on the room he added in 4 more outlets.

I really only want more outlets in our home office, bedroom, spare bedroom, and of course more in the kids rooms.

If we could just get those done it would be very helpful. It all just takes time and patience. Til he is able to get this project done, we will just have to continue moving things around when needed.
