Default A possibility

Recently my sweetie and I decided to help his oldest daughter purchase a home.

We looked into several and really didnt find what we were all looking for. We were honestly about to give up, when we spotted a sign that said for sale by owner.

We decided what the heck and went to check the place out. The exterior of the home was quite lovely, it does need some minor landscaping work but the rest looks great.

The enterior of the home also needs some minor work, but nothing that we ourselves cant fix on our own.

We are hoping that this house will be the one for her.

Prior to this house, we had looked at several homes. Some were very nice and of course came with a huge price to prove it.

There was one house that we looked at that completely shocked me. This place looked nice on the outside and looked to be in a great neighborhood. Though when we went inside, I wanted to run right back out.

Not one door inside the house would close. Kitchen cabinets wouldnt close either and some of them were damaged or missing. Brand new kitchen flooring was already comming loose. The bathroom toilet, sink and tub all leaked water heavily.

The basement of the house was a complete nightmare. There was what appeared to be moss growing all over the walls and on parts of the floor.

The owners of this home, said that they worked on this house and that it was in perfect shape. My sweetie and I looked at one another and we just couldnt help but to laugh at these people.

They actually think someone is going to be stupied enough to purchase this place as it is. There is no way anyone is that dumb.

This was a true house hunting nightmare.

It sounds like to me the "dream house" LOL, might have needed foundation work done to it. Wow, that is not going to be cheap.

Can you imagine what it would be like to have an inspector go in there? I truly hope they were not asking too much for the house.

They were asking $50,000 for the home. Though of course they are never going to get that kind of money out of that money pit. At least not until they, themselves dump a great deal of money into it prior to anyone else seeing it as it is right now.
