Does Hoarder Show Effect House Flippers?

Do the shows like hoarders and thing like that effect you house flippers in any way? I was chatting with a friend online and they mentioned that those shows can have a seriously negative impact on house flippers in the areas where the show is filmed. I am just wondering if that is true or not.

I really don't see how a show like hoarders can effect someone flipping a house. So I thought I would ask about that here in the perfect place.

There are so many rumors surrounding house flipping that it's hard to tell which is true and which isn't.

This is a new question for me - of course I don't live in an area that has had a hoarder show filmed in it.

I agree with you that these shows should not affect flipping houses. The fact that flippers do their best to get the most money that they possibly can when they put a house on the market means they will do their best to clean and repair the homes they are flipping. So I don't believe that having a hoarder show filmed in the area would affect the sale. I've never seen an actual address in one of these shows anyway, so it's hard to tell just where any one show was actually filmed.
