Default Bad Planning, Mistakes Happen

Just wondering if anyone here has ever done any work on your home and made some kind of a mistake?

Mistakes are easily done and they do happen often. Like us, we were doing work on our bathroom recently and completely forgot to add in another electrical outlet.

Of course this is just a minor mistake, and there are sure to be others in the future as more work is done on the house.

Most mistakes that happen to a home are ones that can easily be fixed, but at times there are mistakes that happen that end up taking alot of time and money.

I am thankful that our mistake wont end up costing us alot of money, but we still could have saved ourselves alot of time and effort is we would have just planned out the work better than we did.

We still have several projects that we will be doing to our home in the future, thanks to making this mistake in our bathroom we have learned that planning our projects more carefully, rather than just jumping in like we did is going to ensure us that each and every future project we do, is going to be done just as we want it done without leaving anything out.

Of course we are not doing all of this work on our home to sell it, we are simply doing this work to make the house more comfortable.

I thought it would be a good idea to post about this, so that others can learn from our mistake and to make sure that all plans for remodeling are carefully planned out.
