Default Time to Remodel

Well finally we have finished moving our daughter into her new home. That was a chore in itself, though now the real work once again has to begin.

The home that she has just moved out of, she has decided to rent it out and it is in dire need of repairs.

In every room the floors will have to be redone, due to stained carpets, ripped linoleum and what not. There are also several holes in the walls that will need to be fixed or possibly just replace the walls.

Thankfully the pipes and the wiring in the house were just completely replaced about 8 months ago, so that is one thing that we do not have to worry about.

After the walls are fixed and before the floors are done we are going in to paint the entire home in neutral colors for the new renters. Once the painting is completed then the new flooring through out the house will be done.

We all pretty much did the same work on her new home, so it feels like we have been doing the same things for the last several months. I look forward to it all be finally finised and done with.

Yes I am doing before and after pics so that everyone can see how the house looked and then how it looks before the renters move in.

Everything that has been picked out for the house looks great, and when it all finished I just know that the place is going to look 100% better.
