Default Spring Plans

Now is the most perfect time to get those plans done for any renovation projects that you are planning on completing this spring. Right now most building materials are on sale, which means that you can save a great deal of money on any plans that your making for your home.

There is only one problem with this idea that I have found and that is storing all the materials until the weather permits them to be used. Thats the only down fall that I have come acrossed, though thankfully this is something that I havent had to deal with.

There is plenty of storage room in our garage, shed and of course the basement. Though many dont have all that extra room for storage so buying now to save for spring could be a problem, but if you can get past that then you will find yourself saving loads on all the materials that your going to need for the renovations your planning.

Paint is one thing that I was able to find right now that was extremely cheap as well as even some drywall. So come this spring there are going to be alot of different things getting done to our home, because we have been planning, shopping and storing everything we need to get it all done.

One of the advantages of having storage room available now is that you can hit all the lumber companies sales and get some really good deals on the lumber and other building products that you will be using come spring time.

Planning ahead for what you want to get done when the weather is good again is half the battle and if you plan things right, you can have almost everything you need when it comes time to start the work.

Dont forget the little things though, like the nails, screws, wiring, and any fixtures you may need. It can be very frustrating to go to start a project and find you have no nails etc.

It is also the perfect time to prepare your lawn for summer.Alot of people burn thier grass right at the end of winter,it is believed to revitilize the soil so you will have a beautiful green lawn for the spring and summer.Myself I use Scotts turf builder (weed and feed). My lawn is green almost the entire winter and I have no weeds or burrs in my yard.

I have never heard of anyone burning their grass at the end of winter. This is something I would never have the guts to try. I love what grass I have in my little yard.

Though I have heard of Scotts turf builder and know alot of people that use it. Though I have found if you do a few small simple things to your lawn before winter sets in that you dont need to do alot of stuff to it come spring time.

Things like keeping it clear and free of debris such as leaves and branches. Rake all the grass clippings after you have done the last cut of the year and so on.

These few simple things will make a lawn beautiful come spring time and it doesnt cost an arm and a leg in chemicals and what not to get a green and healthly lawn.

I do know some people who toss straw on their yard to help protect it from winter weather, but I have never seen good results from this. Usally it just makes things worse and alot of clean up come spring time.
