Default Preparing for future sale.

We have decided that we are going to sell our home and move somewhere else. There is much work to be done here in order to get our home ready.

We have already added a deck and built a pole barn. There were flower beds built after the barn was built.

Now we have to concentrate on the inside of the house. We are currently hindered by the unfinished electrical work and will need to have that completed.

There is an unfinished bathroom in the basement and the upstairs one needs to be updated.

We will also be working on the kitchen as it is outdated and needs new flooring. It will of course cost us quite a bit to get it all done but once finished we should be able to sell and then buy the home of our dreams.

We raised six children here but it is now too much home for just the two of us. We weren't considering our retirement years when we purchased we were looking at schools and having enough room for our family.

Best of luck to you Badmomma.

I would imagine its very exiting searching for a new home but at the same time is it pretty emotional leaving the house where you raised your children and spent some really great years? This kind of thing sure takes you through a broad range of feelings I'm thinking.

I guess many who are in the flipping game look at these houses as strictly investments and maybe we lose some sight on all the happy times that the sellers have spent there. Thanks for the reminder that these properties are huge parts of peoples lives and sellers should be treated with the utmost respect for that reason.

Hoping it's a smooth and rewarding transition for you.

Thank you very much. It will be difficult but at the same time rewarding. It is hard to remember that the home is exactly that a home. It was somewhere that people lived and enjoyed their time with family and friends. You are going to do well I am sure as you have taken this into consideration and many would not have even thought twice about that factor. Again Thank you.
