My project

Well after being in my new place, and getting all work done to the main living areas, it is time to work in the basement, there is a great room down there, with nice shelves all around the walls, would make a great family room.

It needs some work, but would be worth it, first it needs cleaned up, also painted, and carpet put down.

The shelves would make a great entertainment center, for all video equipment, strong enough to hold a t.v., and all other items such as dvd players, gaming consoles.

There is no use to waste space, when with a few bucks, and some work, it can be a great room to use, there is a bathroom down there so would not have t worry about coming up stairs for that.

Projects like the one your getting ready to do also increases the value of the home as well and that surely is a plus to any home owner.

Are you planning on doing the work yourself or will you be hiring in a contractor to do it?

It doesn't sound difficult to do that work yourself but some seem to believe it's to much.

Personally I like doing things myself well at least as much as possible. I learn a lot of stuff that way and able to help others.

I do all work myself, just not the electric, but no new is needed in that room

Sounds like a great project to tackle and will be well worth the effort. Actually it doesn't sound like it will be too much to do. A little elbow grease should do the trick.

What shape is the bathroom in? Anything needing done in there?
