I know alot of yall replcae appliances but do you recomend replacing furnace\Ac unit? Most of the places I've seen are built in the 70s or 80s and the HVAC stuff works but its not brand new.. Do homebuyers really care?

It depends on the condition. I would have it inspected and checked to make sure that it is in proper working order.

This way you are protected and if its too old yeah I would probably spring for a newer unit. It all depends on what it is. I wouldn't want to sell a house with one of those antique boilers in it.

This is one of the first things that I do when I buy a house. I have a guy that will come out and check and service every house I buy. He and I have done business for years and if their is a problem he just fix's it unless it is major and then he call's me before he does anything. You need to have certain people like him that you can really trust to take care of these things. When he makes the repairs I don't have to worry about it I know that it is ok and if he say's it needs replacing then I know it is just to costly to repair and we put a new one in.

I agree with them. Take care of the customer. The cost of the new furnace is much better than your house sitting on the market for months while you are paying a mortgage because no one wanted to deal with the old-fashioned furnace and appliances. People want new and mdern typically. They don't want to take on a mortgage plus new furnace and appliances. It's too much.
