Re: Realtor Work
One thing that I do know is that I personally could never work as a realtor or anything like that.
You really have to be a people person and be able to really listen to what people are wanting and to top it all off be able to deliver what they are looking for or at least very close to it. People person, YES! Listening to what people want, YES! If what they want is out there and they are realistic about it, it's very easy to find it for them.
As we all know some people are practically impossible to work with and what they want for a certain price is at times impractical. The more you do it the more you are able to read people and weed through them quickly. We have a handful of simple questions we ask the weeds out most. Plus we have enough business that we pick and choose who we want to work with and refer the rest to other agents in our office and still get a referral fee for it.
I just don't have the patience to do those kinds of things. Granted I have more patience than some people do, however when it comes to doing some of the things that realtors have to do, I just know that I would be horrible at it, so I guess it is a good things I never tried to become a realtor.
I am much better off sticking to the job that I already have, because I don't have to deal with people to awefully much in my line of work,LOL.
