Default realitor help

I was just curious if anyone could fill me in on either New Jersey laws or realitor laws in general. A bunch of my friends are at that time in there lives where they are all going to be looking to purchase homes or condos in the near future and I also own a couple properties and plan on purchasing a couple more so I figured it would only be a plus if I got a real estate license. I was curious if anyone knew how much different courses cost as well as other money I might have to pay out of pocket up front. Also, Is there an annual fee I have to pay or any other annual money? If anyone could fill me in on any secerets of the trade that would be awesome...

Thanks for your help,

Justin

Default Go to your favorite realtor

Go to your favorite realtor and ask questions. A good broker will willingly answer your questions. I took a realtors course and it was about 200 dollars. The only problem that I had was working for free. I went to work for an agent and spent hours being trained by them after I got my lisence. I also had to do alot of cold calling and going to see people who might want to list. Whole problem was wasn't making a dime either way. I had to quit because I was working a full time job and trying to put in full time hours as they demanded and couldn't afford the extra cost or lack of sleep. But not everyone is like this but do ask questions and lots of them. I'm not sure but I think you have to have a broker before you can test.
