Default New Agent Success

I mentioned a while ago that a friend of mine was attempting to become a real estate agent. Well I haven't spoken to her in a while but I just found out that she is now an agent and has sold 2 homes already!

I seriously didn't think that she would have made for a good agent because she isn't a people person at all. This was a serious surprise to me. I am glad she is doing good so far and I hope it continues for her.

I did speak to her about actually learning about the homes and things in each that need to be addressed. I don't want her to end up being like some agents who know squat about the houses or problems with the houses. Hopefully she will take my advice and learn all that she can.

Most Brokers will take all new agents as they know that most new agents have 2 to 4 sales in them from family and friends, but then they are usually in trouble so don't be to happy for her yet.

your right I didn't think of that. I don't know who she managed to sell to but I do hope that she continues doing well.

I am shocked that she managed to sell anything really. I will be happy for her but I won't expect it to last.

I got my license in January of 2009. The first 6 months I spent setting up our site, our blog, and other social networking sites. I didn't sell 1 HOUSE in the the first 6 months. Not 1!

The the ball started rolling and my marketing efforts paid off. I sold 16 the second have of the year, doubled that last year and will more than double it again this year.

It's all about working hard, staying thankful and humble, and never giving up. My two cents.
