Default Short Sales Can Take a Long Time

If you can wait a good while on a short sale process you can get a really good deal most of the time.

Short sales can be a time-consuming and frustrating process sometimes but well worth the wait and aggravation.

A short sale is when a house goes into foreclosure and the money owed against it is more than it's value. The house it put up for sale and the owner and the lender must agree on the price offered.

Sometimes owners drag their feet with paperwork, lenders reject offers. It really can take a while to get a deal done.

I know there are several very experienced house flippers here. Have any of you been through a short sale process and if so was it worth the effort and wait?
