Adding office space to a house is a great way to add a few bucks to your wallet after the sale.

A lot of people have turned to working from their homes in order to save on commuting costs and to spend more time with their families. If they have office space to do their work in, they will find the house much more to their liking.

A little bit of renovating will usually get you the space to create a home office area. If the space isn't already there, it may be worth your while to add on a small room for this purpose.

We are doing just that to our home. The room itself will be used as a family room but it will have all of the internet and phone hook ups installed.

Having all of these things in place allows the buyer to use the room as they please. I also like many wall plugs in my rooms. Not having enough of them is irritating. I also insist on the 3 prong type of wall plug. Most of our newer appliances have them and it is easier than buying those dang adapters.
