Default Just bought my first 2 homes for flipping!!!

Im excited and nervouse all at once. I've been striking out at the auctions and getting beat out on the realestate/realtor scene. I bought a 4BD 2BTH 1800sq ft (livable(in a north Kansas City suburb for 75K neighborhood kinda iffy on what I can get with the economy the way it is Im thinking worst case 133K best case 169K
The 2nd is a 2BD 1 Bath split (900sqft livable) in a very up & comming norther KC suburb for 44K should sell for 90-115K when its fixed up.
Both are in real bad shape hence I got them at a auction... I know a first time fliper should test the waters but I did a canon ball ... Any advice???

Let me start off by saying congratulations on your buys. I do hope that they work out well for you.

I don't think I have ever heard of a new flipper taking on two homes at once. I hope that you have planned things out well as time and money are on the line for you.

I hope that you will share some photos of your flips and the work in progress. We love to see before and after pics of renovations!!

Are you planning on doing most of the work on these homes yourself with friends and family or are you going to be hiring in a contractor and team to do the work?

Either way I hope it all works out the way you want it to!! Best of luck!!

Thanks for the input I will take pics for sure. Im thinking about taping the whole process. Both my uncles are flippers and I've renovated some duplexs before so Im not all the way green. Im just now throwing my hat in the game. I've been working on this since Febuary and I just finnally got the right deals.
I will do the demo work, landscaping, and maybe painting myself
The skilled stuff like plumbing, tile, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, I will contarct out with teams I've wrked with before
80% of this place is making it back to funtional. Right now we are calling it the doo doo house since every room is full of dog shit

EWWW dog doo!! Isn't it lovely how some people treat homes!!

I do look forward to seeing pics of both before and after. It is always great to see something ruined returned to brilliant and the pride taken in the work is also always nice.

Please keep us all up to date on what is going on in your flips. Don't forget to add in problems you encounter and everything. We would love to hear and see it all.
