Default Increase the Value of Your Flip

The idea of house flipping is buying cheap, fixing it up and selling it for a nice profit. Easier said than done.

You need to choose home imrovements that will allow you to get the most back out of them.

Remodeling Magazine has been conducting a study since 1987 on what are the most cost-effective home improvements in the United States. In other words, what projects will give you the most return.

The addition of a wooden deck on a mid-range home has been the absolute best. Those who have installed a 16x20 pressure treated wooden deck have seen a return of 85.4 percent of the cost.

The improvement that has increased a house's value the most is a two part addition. An added family room on one floor and an added bathroom on another floor typically sees an added value of $103,000.

Be careful with all renovations as you really can overdo it and not see much of a return at all. Choose your improvements wisely.

I find it easy to fix any major thing that needs to be fixed and then just make the home appealing to the eye.

Do this by painting and updating the hardware in the home.
Then you may need to buy some cheap carpet for the home. After that you just do maintinance on the electronical equeptment in the home like the heat and air,hot water heater, any exhaust, etc.

These are pretty cheap to do and really appeal to the eye of any potential buyers.
