House Flip Renovations with Entertaining in Mind

If you watch just about any of the house flipping/selling shows then you know that entertaining spaces are pretty much a must have these days. I've noticed this a lot watching "House Hunters" and other shows along those lines.

People want a space large enough and dedicated to entertaining friends and family. And they not only want a space inside of the house but outside as well.

I'm not talking about just a patio either. Unless it's a fairly large one. They want spaces outside where they can have a bbq area, seating area, game area and so on.

Inside they want to fit thirty or more people and be comfortable.

People seem to have more "home" parties these days. They at the very least want to have the option to have parties.

If you can provide these spaces your house will stand out to buyers on the market. House flipping is tough but if you can provide what people want then the process is smoother and the profit better.

I have noticed the same thing. Home entertaining seems to be the really big thing these days and the outside entertainment areas are just as nice as the ones inside.

It's as if we are getting back to the times when everyone would get together on the weekends and so on. Just to be together and have a good time. People seem to be going bar hopping a little less. Maybe even hall rentals are down. It may have to do with the economy. It's cheaper to entertain at home.

Thats how it used be way back when. You didn't rent a big fancy hall. You had a "Great" room for inside entertaining and a nice place outside with huge flower gardens and so on.

I have a decent sized house but it's not layed out well for entertaining. I have no "open" spaces which I would love to have. Everything is seperate.. room to room.

I don't have a great outside space either. I have two small porches but most of my lawn is hill. Not conducive to entertaining!

That doesn't stop anyone from stopping over though because I swear I must have the most visited house in the world! People are here all the time lol!

I'd love to have a back hoe come in and flatten out some of my lawn. I'd also like to knock down a few walls in my house and make it more open. Maybe someday! Maybe one day when I'm upset I'll just grab a big hammer and take my frustrations out on the walls lol. I wonder how mad my husband would be???

This is a great way to invite new clients to a home for a viewing of a house on the market and it also brings up the value of the home and the property value as well not to mention how the ideas it brings to the mind of the buyer i know if i was in the market of buying a home i would love the idea of being able to entertain out doors
