Default Bathroom Paint

You may zip right through the house choosing paint colors and decor and everything goes smoothly. When you get to the bathroom though different rules apply.

Bathrooms are typically not very large and that has to factor in a lot when choosing your colors. You want to avoid anything too dark because it will only make the room feel even smaller than it is. You also have to choose paint that can take getting wet well and also those that help prevent the growth of mold.

The glossier the paint, the better it does with water.

White is usually the best color choice for the trim. It will make your wall colors pop and not make the room look smaller.

You can buy paint which is intended for specific use in bathrooms. It is more expensive but well worth it because it does so well in moisture.
