Basement bathrooms

We live in a 3 bedroom ranch style house that has a full basement and under house garage. One of my biggest issues here and would also be in a house I might decide to flip, is the one bathroom deal.

That is why, this summer we are going to create a full bathroom in the basement. We will have of course the toilet, shower and sink, plus in ours will also be the hot tub.

It is necessary to have 2 bathrooms in the house for the huge extended family we have as there are sometimes 11 or more people staying here during the holidays.

Having a basement bathroom will make it much easier to deal with people that need to shower and this way, the other bathroom would be open for anyone else that needed to use it.

I feel that it would be well worth the expense of having that second bathroom.

With having so many people in your home at one time, I would imagine that there is often a line for the bathroom. I have to agree that the installation of another bathroom would be well worth the price. The last thing anyone wants to do is wait to use the bathroom, especially if it is your own home,LOL.
