Default Affordability of Home Projects

There are a lot of projects that I have in mind to get completed but having the money to do them is a whole other thing.

Home projects and renovations can be quite costly depending on what you are wanting to do. For a lot of people, it's just not affordable right now.

The economy has effected a lot of things over the past couple of years and home renovations is one of them.

I'd like to completely redo my kitchen and have wood floors installed throughout my house but there is no way right now. It just costs too much.

It being winter time too, my husband doesn't work as much so the money just isn't there.

One of these days I will get it all done though.

I hear you flip-it-fast.
What really breaks the bank for me is how all the little loose end items that weren't originally budgeted for really add up to some serious money.

Seems like every time I go into my home improvement stores i can literally see the prices going up before my very eyes, and not just by a little either.
Maybe thats why there no customers in their stores these days, even at the holiday season.

Prices on the way up, quality definately on its way down.
Maybe they ran the smaller manufacturers of quality items out of business with cheap Chinese crap and now that there's no competition there raising prices on the garbage they sell.
Everything seems to be going to plastic and cheap veneer.Take a look around.

Yes sir your right. I had to replace the handle on my toilet. It is of course plastic and not well made. I can't keep it on the toilet. I am sick of having to put it back on everytime I have to flush.

Replacement parts for almost everything seem to be made as cheaply as possible but cost unholy amounts of money. We have all kinds of regulations for safety of medications and automobiles but none it seems for one of the places we spend the most time, our homes.
