Default Wireless Thermostats

Recently a wireless pneumatic thermostat, or WPT for short was unveiled by Cypress Envirosystems. This WPT was designed to help reduce maintenance costs as well as energy consumption in older buildings which use legacy HVAC systems. The WPT is installed in just a matter of minutes and does not cause any disruptions in the existing systems.
WTP will both track and control HVAC usage after hours, for cost recovery, especially in buildings of multiple tenants. Manually tracking with pneumatic thermostats is quite clumsy. The WPT though has an override option for the tenants and also offers like, requested time zone, time stamps and duration. The WPT also has the ability to notify a member of the maintenance staff by either a pager or cell phone when a zone crosses the preset temperature either by the lower or upper limits. Legacy pneumatic thermostats do require calibration and manual setpoint control, this in turn causes for wasted heating and air conditioning of those spaces which are not occupied. This problem was handled in the past by the replacement of a direct digital control HVAC system, which would cost around two thousand dollars per zone, as well as require additional cabling, terminal boxes with electrical actuators and dampers, pneumatic pipes. Now the WPT can be installed for about the price of four hundred dollars per zone.
Owners or operators now have the option and flexibility to install the WPT in an entire building or simply in individual zones as a budget will allow or as the need arises. The WPT can stand either alone or it can be integrated with many existing buildings automatic systems.
The WPT from the Cypress Envirosystems can facilitate individual zones for the scheduling of temperature changes, automatic calibration as well as remote monitoring of the pressure and the temperature.
