Default Understanding what going green means

When you see an Organic label on a product it has t been certified by either the state or Organic Materials Review Institute. These products are based on standards set by the USDA National Organic Program.

Natural products are ones that are composed of ingredients that are naturally occurring in the environment with little or no human processing.

Sustainability, when related to environmental issues is pretty simple. It means that we allow the environment to maintain itself and not exhaust the resources that Earth has to offer. Sustainability is about much more than global warming.

Default Re: Understanding what going green means

To me green means to utilize what the Earth gives you and not to do anything to hurt the earth.Chemicals and fertilizers are all bad stuff for the planet and going green means to stop the use of these products and start using homemade things to clean with like lemon juice and vinegar.

Vinegar is really good if mixed with water to clean glass surfaces and shiny tiles and stuff.

Lemon Juice is good for cleaning grease and kitchens and bathrooms,it breaks up grease and soap scum like magic.
