Default Toxic disposal.

I don't know where to take all of those products that I have lying around my home. I will have to do some research in my community however.
I didn't realize that empty containers should be taken in to a waste facility. In our community most of our household waste is burnt. This is a bad thing because it releases toxic chemicals into the atmosphere. Does anyone know of a phone number that you can call to get the information that I am looking for?

I really don't know of any phone number for you to call but you could probably get the information you are looking for by talking to the rubbish pick up company who picks up in your community. They would most likely have the answers you need.

You may get an answer to your question by calling the board of health in your area. They may have a phone number to call.

I know in my area, there are a few days each year that toxic substances are collected in a couple of areas, which are announced a few weeks beforehand, as to the time and place for us to drop off whatever needs to be disposed of.

Keep in mind that you are using one of the most powerful tools to knowledge....The internet. You can also look up the information you are needing online for your specific area.
We dont even have a home phone here in our house, because everything we need to know we can usally locate online. Also I have learned that when you look something up online, you tend to learn alot more than if you were to simply call for information.
