Default Tips on cleaning

Here are a few tips to clean. I was reading in a magazine, and I seen this and thought I would share it with everyone. You can make your own wood polish, mix 1 c. olive oil and 1/4 c. vinegar in a plastic spray bottle. The vinegar cuts dirt, and the oil helps to prevent wood from drying out. If you try this, use it on wood that is not that important to you, as I haven't tried it out on nice wood yet.

You can try shampoo for clothing stains, let it sit over night.

You can also take 1 part vinegar and 1 part water, and put it in a old baby wipe container with some old washcloth’s. Keep it under your sink in the bathroom, and after a bath wipe the tub and shower doors down with it. Also take the washcloth and wipe everything else down. Then put in laundry.

Thanks for taking the time to share, i can always use new cleaning tips.

Has anyone tried the "magic sponge" product from Mr. Clean yet? They are fantastic , i would recommend these to everyone! they clean a tub in one swipe and its soooo easy. and you can use them on anything you want, and they last for a few cleanings and only cost about $4 for 2!

Great buy.

Thanks for the cleaning recipes. I love to make my own cleaning products because it saves so much money a year and of course helps the our world. These I will be using and I am sure that I will like them.

As for that Mr.Clean magic eraser thing, I have yet to try it. Though I should because everyone that I know who uses speaks very high about them. Next time I go to the store I will have to pick a package of them and give them a try.

You posted this tip just in time for me. I forgot that I was out of furniture polish and really didn't want to drive several miles to get some. Now I can make my own and get my furniture clean without spending any money at all. Thanks for your help!
