Default Stop Junk Mail

Just about ever time you get your mail you seem to find tons of junk mail. This is the stuff that normally ends up in the trash can with out even being opened. Nearly 4 million tons of this type of mail is sent out every year.

The best thing to do is to look at this junk mail that you recieve and find out how to stop it. Often times there is a phone number, email or an address listed there that you can contact to stop that mail from reaching your door.

This also goes for books, magazines, catalogs and other bits of mail. Its a great idea to stop these things from even being delivered to your home because it will save thousands of trees a year.

If you purchase something from a magazine or a catalog be sure to write some where on the order in bold letters asking the company to no sell your name and information. Most companies will respect this message and mark it properly in their computers. This also goes for if your purchasing a warrenty on an item.

Contests which you can find in stores and what not where you are asked to fill out an entry form. These are normally a companies way of getting your information (while of course holding a contest). Avoid these if at all possible even though they sound good. I am sure that you have noticed if you have filled one of these out that soon after you began recieving more junk mail.

We all seem to get loads of credit card offers in the mail. The best way to put an end to this type of junk mail is to contact this number 1-888-OPT OUT (1-888-567-8688). They can be contacted 24 hours a day, so dont wait put an end to all the junk mail, your postal carrier will be thankful, the landfills will be thankful and so will all of the trees which you have helped to save.
