Default Reduction in auto emissions

I just found out that vehicle manufacturers are soon going to be forced to create cars which offer 35 miles per gallon fuel efficiency, as well as produce less green house emissions, than those made today. Though I believe the article said that this would take the next 11 years to take effect.

This sounds good to me but wish they could do it before the year 2020. The green house emissions that our cars produce are very harmful to people as well as our planet.

I do know that there are areas which test vehicles to ensure that their emissions are low, but many areas do not have these such tests.
I know for a fact that the area I live in does not do these tests on cars and if they did most likely many would not pass.

My car produces no green house emissions what so ever, then again this is because I dont have a car, LOL. Though when I do again have a vehicle I will be making sure that the green house emissions which are produced by the car will be low.

Though I do believe that cutting down on the amount of emissions which our cars and other vehicles create, would greatly help our planet.

There are so many things that we all can do to help our planet, and it just takes a little bit of time and the willingness to do them.

I totally agree with you homealone. I remember when the E check came out and people were throwing a fit. I myself am glad they have it. It forces people to be aware of our air, even if they don't want to.
