new rechargeable batteries
Every year people spend more than three billion dollars on batteries. We all require batteries for flashlights, childrens toys, remotes and cameras. There are many items which require the use of batteries, yet less than 5% of the batteries used are rechargeable. All this dispite the benefits of rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries are cost saving and produce less environmental waste.
The reasons why people do not want to use these rechargeable batteries is because most have to be in a charger for as long as an entire day prior to the initial use. This becomes inconvenient to those who are in need of batteries right away. Another reason most are not using rechargeable batteries is if they are left to sit to long with out use they will loose their charge, and will require to be recharged again before they are useable.
Though now there is a new battery, this new battery is a Hybrid rechargeable battery which has combined all of the environmental and economic benefits of both rechargeable and alkaline batteries. These batteries come already charged and ready to use, just like the alkaline batteries which we all depend on so much. These batteries can be left for almost an entire year with out being used and will still have charge to them, they have a much slower discharge rate than regular rechargeable batteries.
The new Hybrid batteries hold a charge up to four times longer than conventional rechargeable batteries when not in use, and will last up to three times longer than alkaline batteries when used in devices like digital cameras, which as most know drains batteries quickly. Hybrid batteries can be used in anything that requires batteries and work in all NiMH chargers. The use of just one Hybrid battery can replace almost 1,500 alkaline batters, and will save people more than a thousand dollars, and will reduce some of the waste in the landfills.
