Default Makes No Sense

I constantly see and hear many reasons that we should all be going green, and of course I also hear of the things that many companies are doing now days to help with the going green movement.

All of this is good news to hear and of course it is good for the environment. Though what does not make any sense to me at all is that there are some companies that are trying to go green, however they are producing products with harsh chemicals in them, or items that are not biodegradable.

It seems to me that if a company is really wanting to truely go green, wouldn't they also need to produce products which have the health of the planet in mind???

I really don't understand why companies would pretend to be doing what they can to go green and help the planet, all the while producing products that harm the earth.

It really makes no sense what so ever to me.

I work in a store for a huge company with thousands of stores and about a year ago they started recycling the boxes that the merchandise comes in. I think that is awesome. At least it is something. They used to just throw the boxes away and it was such a waste.

I love that companies are choosing to recycle--any step forward is a good one. Now if only we can get them to do the other "R's"--reduce and reuse...
